A new solar thermoelectric system – more efficient

There are many innovations in solar panels.

Scientists from Boston College and MIT have developed a new type of solar thermoelectric system, the hybrid flat panel.

This hybrid panel collects solar energy and heats water to generate thermal energy too.

This one’s a lot more cost effective and about 8 times more efficient than the usual solar thermoelectric generators.

Soon solar power generation will become a domestic affair.
