Europe’s renewable energy capacity almost doubles in a decade

The share of renewable energy across the EU’s generation mix has almost doubled over the past decade, from 5.4 per cent to nine per cent between 1999 and 2009, according to new EU statistics released today.

A solar powered car wash opened in Stamford, Connecticut

Greenerator – renewable energy generator for apartments in high-rise buildings

Kyocera Corporation builds the largest solar power generating systems for a commercial facility

Kyocera Corporation announced that 960-kilowatts (kW) of  its solar modules (roughly 4,300 units) have been installed on the roof of the recently opened AEON Itami-Koya shopping center (operated by AEON Retail Co., Ltd.) in Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
